“What’s it going to cost?” is the first question every homeowner asks us, and it deserves a straighter answer than most pool websites give. So here it is, with real numbers where we can publish them and honest ranges where we can’t.
Published starting prices you can actually see
Unlike a lot of builders, we publish starting prices for our fiberglass shells. On our fiberglass designs page you’ll find every model with its size, depths and starting number — from compact plunge pools like the Enlightenment 10.16 starting at $55,550, up to our largest 16’ x 40’ shells like the Virtuous starting at $82,600. Fiberglass spas and spillover spas are listed at $14,200.
A “starting price” means the shell and a standard installation scope. It’s the honest floor, not a teaser — and your written quote spells out exactly what’s included before anything is scheduled.
What moves the number
Two identical pools can land at different totals because the yard, not the shell, drives much of the cost. The biggest levers we see across the metro:
- Access and excavation — tight gates, slopes and utilities change the dig.
- Decking and coping — square footage and material (broom finish vs. stamped vs. stone).
- Water features — sheer descents, waterfalls and grottos add plumbing and structure.
- Equipment choices — heaters, automation, lighting and covers.
- Pool type — gunite is fully custom and priced per design; vinyl liner is typically the most budget-friendly inground path.
Budgeting without surprises
Our advice to every family: decide the total you’re comfortable with, then work backwards with your builder rather than falling in love with a rendering first. Leave room in the budget for the space around the water — decking, shade and landscaping are what make a pool livable in July.
And get the scope in writing. Every quote we send itemizes what’s included, so the number you approve is the number you build to.
The fastest way to a real number
Ranges are useful; your number is better. Tell us your yard, your pool type and your wish list through the quote form, and we’ll come back within 1–3 days with a personal quote tailored to your project — that’s been our standard from day one.
