Vinyl Liner Pool Shell & Installation

Your vinyl liner pool installation includes:

Pool Equipment & Plumbing Installation

Every vinyl liner pool installation includes professional plumbing and equipment setup so your pool operates efficiently from the start.

Pool equipment may vary slightly depending on the final configuration, but commonly includes:

  • 1 pool skimmer
  • 4 water return lines
  • Jandy 2 HP Variable Speed Pump
  • Jandy Cartridge Filter
  • 2 multicolor Jandy LED pool lights
  • Chlorine water sanitation system
    • Optional Saltwater upgrade available for $1,200

Electrical Installation

To ensure your pool operates safely and meets local building requirements, we complete all necessary electrical work as part of the installation.

Electrical services include:

  • Running a 220V circuit to the pool equipment
  • Installing a 110V outlet near the pool equipment
  • Copper wire grounding of the pool
  • Copper bonding of the surrounding concrete deck
  • Wiring for LED pool lighting
  • Bonding of the pool water
  • Connecting and testing all pool equipment

All work is performed to meet local electrical code requirements. City permits for electrical work are handled by our team.

Concrete Coping & Pool Deck Installation

Each vinyl liner pool installation includes a concrete coping and surrounding sidewalk deck to create a finished and functional pool area.

Concrete specifications include:

  • 3-foot wide concrete perimeter around the pool
  • 4" thick concrete deck
  • Subgrade preparation and compaction
  • Base installation using crusher run material
  • Rebar reinforcement installed 24 inches on center
  • Rebar intersections tied at approximately 75%
  • 4000 PSI concrete strength
  • Concrete slump determined on the day of placement based on weather conditions — slump refers to the ratio of sand, cement, and gravel to water
  • Concrete pump fee included

To help prevent cracking and allow for natural expansion, we also:

  • Cut control (relief) joints in appropriate locations
  • Space joints no more than 10 feet apart

Additional Site Conditions

Most vinyl liner pool installations go smoothly, but certain ground conditions can require additional work.

If solid rock is encountered during excavation, a jackhammer fee of $150 per hour may apply.

Optional Add-On Services

Many homeowners choose to add additional services to complete their backyard transformation.

Optional upgrades include:
